The Informed Delivery® feature gives eligible residential, business, and PO Box™ customers digital previews of their mail and packages.
Informed Delivery offers business mailers and shippers the opportunity to engage users through an integrated mail or package digital marketing campaign that generates additional consumer impressions, interactions, and insights.

How It Works for Customers
Users have the ability to view grayscale images of the exterior, address side of letter-size mailpieces arriving soon. Mailpiece images are available via email notification, online dashboard, or mobile app.
The process is simple:
- Customer signs up for Informed Delivery notifications.
- Mail and packages are imaged and scanned during processing.
- Mail and packages are matched to delivery points and interactive mail or package campaigns are applied.
- Customer receives mailpiece images or package tracking information and ride-along image.
- Customer receives physical mailpieces or packages.

Sign Up for Informed Delivery Notifications
In addition to using the Informed Delivery feature to market your business services, you can also sign up to receive notifications about mail that's coming to you. Each day, preview your business’ incoming USPS® mail and packages with Informed Delivery notifications:
- Get Daily Digest emails that preview your mail and packages scheduled to arrive soon.
- See images of your incoming letter-sized mail (grayscale, address side only).3
- Track and manage your packages in one convenient place.
